EU debate censored by media
The Shropshire Star is to be congratulated on remaining one of very few media outlets where uncensored political debate on the EU issue is still allowed, namely whether we are to be allowed to remain a self-governing nation.

At the signing of the Charter of Fundamental Rights in Strasbourg on December 12, about 80 Euro sceptic MEPs protested. The TV cameras were immediately turned away and the sound switched off, Putin-style, to prevent the outside world knowing that all is not well.
The president, Hans Gert Pottering, shouted at the protesters, accusing them of being anti-democratic because they would not let guest speakers speak. None of this was reported on TV or in the mainstream media. Thank you Shropshire Star for letting people hear.
