Maybe because it's because they don't have anything else to do or maybe it's because they have realised they don't have much to look forward to in life.
Hardly any teenagers of today will be able to afford to buy their own house and maybe not even rent one, well paid jobs are disappearing, as for getting married who would enter into that with such a high divorce rate?
You have to ask yourselves what is there to do for a 16-17 year old, many work and have money in their pockets, but what do they do for a night out? No-one wants to sit in the house with their parents at that age.
We have to stop treating children like second class citizens and stop calling them yobs, hoodies and louts, and try to integrate them into society again. If we don't just think what the next generation will be like!
We have to do something now and let them do some of the things they want to do and not the things we think they should be doing.
PS. Don't bother writing back saying "blame the parents", their hands are tied from controlling children, just as teachers are.
