The 650 parking spaces at the ground are dictated by national planning legislation which says one parking space for every 15 seats. Had more parking been developed it would not have been granted planning consent.
To claim that this issue has been "ignored" is totally incorrect. The aim of this legislation is to encourage more sustainable forms of transport to the ground.
Over 20 coaches from across Shropshire run to the site. Many more fans are now walking, cycling and using the town bus services.
