A barely-known law which prohibits people dying in the Houses of Parliament has been voted Britain's daftest piece of legislation.

In second place was a law which states it is treason to use a postage stamp upside down.

The most absurd international law in the poll by UKTV Gold was in the US state of Ohio, where it is illegal to get fish drunk.
