If you read an 'Armoury', you will find that leopards very rarely appear on achievements, otherwise known as coats of arms.

The blazon of the Arms of Shropshire, which has them, reads: 'Erm. Three piles, two issuant in chief and one in base Az, each charged with a leopards face ppr.'

This is the language of the Herald: Old English, Norman French, and German.

Now check out the Arms of SABC. The three leopards have become three lions.

The Motto, 'Floreat Salopia' on the scroll should not be there. If the brick bridge represents The English Bridge it is the only Shrewsbury connection.
