No respect from lady at golf club

I would like to thank the "lady" golfer driving a black 4x4 at Lilleshall Sports Centre on September 26 for making a very bad day even worse.

Following the funeral of my father, Colin Bennett at Telford Crematorium, we had to pass through the golf club.

Lilleshall Hall staff had kindly arranged for the barriers to be raised so we could make our way back there for the funeral tea.

Unfortunately, we met the above "lady". Bearing in mind there were two funeral cars being followed by 150 to 200 cars, she refused to reverse about 10 feet to the car park to let us through and instead insisted we reverse.

My stepmother, sister and I had to sit in the front car watching her arguing with the funeral directors for more than five minutes before she eventually agreed to move.

I hope she feels ashamed of herself. If she should ever be in the same situation, let's just hope she shows more respect to that family than she did to mine.
