Living in hell with no help

I have only lived in Cordingley Way, Donnington, for two years. It's lovely and quiet in the day and sheer hell at night.

My property has been vandalised on many occasions. I am frightened to come out of my front door on an evening due to the alley way next to my home that leads into Park Road, where the teenagers congregate and cause mayhem.

You report it to the police and they end up not coming out at all or three hours later. In the past residents have asked the council to block off the alley way, to no avail.

I have been threatened, harassed and people have had their bags pinched. The people at the council have said that a few members of the public like to use the alley to walk their children to school. Would these mothers like to put up with what I have to put up with night after night? I think not!

What's wrong with some people? Why can we not stick together and get something done for a change.

Also, to the council it's a very poor excuse and not fair. It would save a lot of wasted police hours and money with your graffiti busting van. Maybe I should send the bills for the damage to the council/housing trust.

I am also fed up of the fly tipping at the end of the alley.

The council/housing trust/police say in the paper how successful their clean sweep of Donnington is, I do not think so.
