Young were a shining example

So often these days we only seem to hear negative comments about young people, but I feel it's important that people know the they are not all bad.

On July 23, I witnessed a group of nearly 50 young people who were a shining example to all.

The 1st Donnington rainbows, brownies and guides were on an outing to the bowling alley in the town centre when it was evacuated. Their behaviour was impeccable.

It was lovely to see the older guides looking after the younger ones so well and keeping everyone entertained while they were waiting in the rain outside.
