Smoke ban has taken our rights

So we now have arrived at the smoking ban. What next I ask, are we going to be told we cannot smoke in our own homes, shed, garden, etc?

So we now have arrived at the smoking ban. What next I ask, are we going to be told we cannot smoke in our own homes, shed, garden, etc?

This country has gone really stupid with all its rules. We had a war to keep our freedom years ago, good men lost lives by the thousands to keep this country free from tyranny.

Yes, I smoke, have done for 55 years (no harm done to me, still here). Perhaps those who reckon damage is done by cigarette/pipe smoke should look at other avenues such as emissions from cars, and buses.

I walk down Aston Street in Shifnal every morning and the vast clouds of exhaust from the buses sometimes cause cars to slow down. I have to inhale that and reckon its more lethal than tobacco smoke.

Most smokers are aware that others do not smoke and will go away from them to have a 'ciggy'.

This no smoke rule has taken our rights away. Oh by the way, I have just had a ciggy while writing this letter (never coughed once, I won't).
