Regarding The Shrewsbury Fibromyalgia Support Group Members, I would like to extend my most sincere and grateful thanks to all of the above members.
Myself and the group have just passed through a very difficult time, and as chair of the group most of the decisions, difficult as they are to make at times, fall upon me to deal with.
I would therefore like to thank them all for all the support, friendship, cards and flowers. A special thank you to Mandy for moving me from the house and also to Les for proposing a vote of confidence.
Thanks also to our new members, and best wishes also to Jean and Joy for the extra raffle selling, Wendy for doing the members' birthdays and Yvonne for taking charge of raffle organising.
Last but not least Lois for doing such a splendid job with our monies.
I would also like to extend a big thank you to Ken for his unstinting support and advice over recent matters.
It is not an easy job being at the top of such a much-needed support group but thanks to you all, I feel I can carry on.
Being awarded The Midlands Volunteer of the Year Award recently from FMUK the Fibromyalgia Charity came at just the right time for us all.
