New store is not so 'friendly'
Having been to the new Tesco store that has been built in an "environmentally friendly" style, I have been wondering how "friendly" it really is?

The old store sold TVs but the new one has about a dozen on to show what they are like. Is that "friendly"?
I went to the recycle area they have, hidden away in the corner, so of course I drove to it - that cannot be "friendly".
I found that now they have built a huge sorting machine there that takes one piece of recycle material at a time, so it takes twice as long to get rid of all my stuff.
As it's so slow there was a queue of cars waiting, most with the engine running until they can pull up next to it. How "friendly" is that?
I do wonder how many recycled milk cans it will take to cover the carbon footprint of that machine and its running costs.
How "friendly" is that?
