Will growth of landfill ever end?

I am writing to ask you about the landfill site known as the Granville in Telford.

I have only lived in St Georges for four years but have always been aware that this area is becoming increasingly large.

The landfill is spoiling the scenery and if I look over the main road from my house, all I can see is tractors, diggers and a hill of rubbish.

I am getting really concerned for the environment and that the enjoyment of the beautiful landscape in this area is being ruined.

This landfill has become extremely high recently and what was once a small raised area of land is turning into a very high hill. Will it ever stop or is it to become another landmark like the Wrekin?

I want to ask your readers if they also have concerns and would like to know when this eyesore will stop growing.

I hope the council will look into this and explain what is to become of what was once a picturesque scene.
