A fine example of life
Our Liberal Democrat local election handouts have just arrived - very generous, not to say lavish.
Our Liberal Democrat local election handouts have just arrived - very generous, not to say lavish.Whoever delivered them must have been moved by a similarly generous impulse when they picked up the Shropshire Star that was lying by the roadside and transferred it to my letterbox.
Unfortunately, it was not my copy at all. It was awaiting collection by my neighbour.
This little incident sheds some light on what life would be like if we ever elected Liberal Democrat candidates to power.
They mean well but get the plot wrong. They are scarily certain that they can run our lives for us better than we can do it for ourselves.
The finest example of this is the unitary authority folly that the Liberal Democrats want to inflict on us.
What aspect of "we don't want it" can they not understand ?
