Far from a centre of excellence

Worse than him getting away with what most of us would have been punished for though, is the continuing support that Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council gives to him.
He invades the House of Commons shouting his mouth off about what he and a minority of his blood- thirsty cronies want, shows absolute contempt for democracy and decency, then is allowed to promote his disrespect for this country's law and order in Shrewsbury Square every year.
SABC considers itself on course to becoming a Centre of Environmental Excellence in three years' time.
In the meantime, it allows an individual to promote circuses, allows the promotion of hunting in its historic square and is the worst performing council in Shropshire in its recycling efforts.
SABC should think again. We all know of its dealings with Shrewsbury Town FC, the mess they've made of the Sports Village and The Lantern in Sundorne.
We know it will build the Theatre Severn on the flood plain, wants to extend car parks onto recreation grounds, build a GP surgery on more recreation land and remove great crested newts from the last piece of green space in Sundorne.
