His name was Ernest Arthur Walton and he was born in Condover, Shropshire in July 1912 to Esther and John Walton.
He was baptised in Condover Church in August 1912 together with his brother and died on April 25, 1988 at Mendell, Clun Road, Craven Arms.
My mother Joan Walton and my father parted when I was very young so I was under the impression the lovely man who helped bring me up was my natural father.
Just before my mother died I learned her husband had been Ernest Arthur Walton. I have obtained a photo of her wedding from my cousin on her side of the family.
I am now seeking any family or friends on my father's side. I have no brothers or sisters as far as I know, but may have half-siblings.
