Son kicked out of taxi over 40p
We were furious when our son arrived home in the early hours of a Saturday morning, when he informed us that the taxi driver had told him and a friend to get out of the car at Ketley because they were 40p short of the fare home.
We were furious when our son arrived home in the early hours of a Saturday morning, when he informed us that the taxi driver had told him and a friend to get out of the car at Ketley because they were 40p short of the fare home to Oakengates.
Surely he could have driven them to our home where I would have willingly given him the 40p.
Our son rang the taxi company to complain only to be told that if they did not know the registration number of the vehicle they could not do anything.
How would he feel if this had happened to his son or daughter?
Obviously in this case money is more important than our son's safety.
We certainly will not be using this company again.
