Mentality of snow drivers incredible
The snow certainly brought chaos to the roads in Telford on Friday. I was amazed not only at the poor driving skills, but the incredible attitude of some of the drivers.

The soft snow falling on icy roads caused serious traction problems for many. As the driver of a large, front-wheel drive estate car full of heavy equipment, I found myself struggling badly to climb the hill from Haybridge island towards Ketley Brook island. I could barely get the vehicle to crawl at a slow walking pace and was hoping to reach the top without losing grip altogether. Any attempt to touch the accelerator made the wheels spin. Had I got stuck, which certainly happened elsewhere, I would have blocked the road.
Fortunately, although it took me a bit longer than some other vehicles, I did make it without stopping. I wonder if anyone could explain to me the mentality of the woman behind me in the Land Rover Discovery, who sat right in my boot all the way up the hill, blasting her horn because I was going too slow and holding her up?
