A £20,000 cherry picker has been stolen from the back of a Shropshire house. A £20,000 cherry picker has been stolen from the back of a Shropshire house. A £200 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves who stole the 20ft long machine. A £20,000 cherry picker has been stolen from the back of a Shropshire house.A £200 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves who stole the 20ft long machine.

It was taken from the back of the house in Shrewsbury Street, Prees, in the early hours of Monday morning.

Constable Charlotte Wood, of Whitchurch Police, said the cherry picker was a Harrier Access make and was mounted on a two-wheel towing mechanism with "Hire: 07977 413663" written on the side.

She said: "We believe it was taken at about 3am because we have a sighting of it being towed, possibly by a rusty white transit type vehicle, heading through Prees towards the A49 southbound."
