M54 hit by crash chaos

An accident on the eastbound carriage of the M54 near Wolverhampton has caused major delays for motorists.

Drivers faced lengthy queues following the incident one mile east of junction 3 at Albrighton around 8am on Wednesday.

The RAC said an overturned vehicle was blocking one lane of the road.

Police and an ambulance team were in attendance. Long delays were expected in the area.
