Ditch expensive nonsense

We are informed today that Britain is now the main target of terrorists from Afghanistan and Pakistan. The efforts of the security forces are commendable but futile while we continue to implement the disastrous EU "Open Borders" policy.

You will note that, while agreed by 25 member countries, only three have accepted this policy which could only have one outcome - mass exodus from one country to mass migration to another.

We are told that Britain accepted up to one million Eastern Europeans in 2005 and estimate that up to 600,000 have arrived this year to date. We are also informed that crime and serious fraud has risen threefold in the last six months.

The present immigration policy inflicted upon us by the EU and meekly accepted by our politicians must be the equivalent of a welcome mat to criminals in general and terrorists in particular.

It is time that we ruled ourselves again and got rid of this expensive EU nonsense.
