Dogs are a danger at all times
I am writing concerning a letter published on October 14 from C Powney. He or she would naturally defend this breed of dog. I would never want any rottweiler anywhere near children. It is too late when they have attacked or killed a child.
I sincerely hope C Powney that your dog never bites or attacks your child or anyone else's. I do not understand why anyone would want to own this breed of dog. Is it to guard your house or is it a macho thing? I am sure your friends would soon turn against you if your dog attacked one of their children.Ê
You said I have highlighted cases involving a very small minority of rottweilers. Enter "rottweiler attacks" on a search engine on the internet and you will see pages of attacks or killings by this breed of dog.
I don't think I am ignorant about this subject, the amount of attacks speak volumes.
I am glad I am not living next door to you C Powney. Your dog is a timebomb and needs to be constantly monitored. When you take it out I hope it is muzzled for safety's sake.
Mr Pearce, Wem
