Decisions leave us confused

I read a while ago that Shrewsbury and Atcham Councillor Nutting wanted to sell Rowley's House because "it is no longer suitable for public access due to health and safety issues".

Now I read in the Shropshire Star that he will not sell to a developer to do what it likes with, saying: "Whatever we do, we are looking for public access." Perhaps we could turn it into a museum or something.

Confused, yes, but then of you have an authority that had new white lines painted in Consall Lane, (Ryton crossroads to the A49 at Long Gardens) on October 8, then a couple of days later put up a sign saying it would be closed from October 16 to 20 for resurfacing. Is the plan not to resurface over the white lines?
