Offensive to always be taking offence

Here we go again, another petty matter for the Muslims to take up their cudgels about again. I would make the following points

Published

:-

1. It is very, very rude to cover up your mouth when speaking to other people, even with your hand, and not only that, it conceals your identity.

2. In our Bible we are told not to take offence too easily. Does not the Q'ran have anything similar to say ?

3. If non-Muslims visit a mosque, they are asked to remove their shoes and they do so.

4. British people do not dress in a way to cause distress to Muslims in their countries.

5. Muslims have chosen to live in this country and are treated reasonably well: why not quietly thank God for this, and abide by the simple preferences here and not cause needless trouble: it is all a matter of normal common-sense.

6. By their frequent demonstrations and aggressive behaviour, Muslims are most certainly unacceptably unreasonable.

7. If Muslims integrated more than they do and display a little more "give" and little less "take", and "let sleeping dogs lie", we would all be happier.

Personally, as an older person, I am quite alarmed by the situation.

Finally, I would say if would be a pity if they voted Jack Straw out. He is a good man and everyone would be disadvantaged.
