All of this talk's left me fed up
I felt really fed up this morning and wondered why. I glanced at my papers from this morning and the night before. White people accused of racism. Some are. But looking at the news of wars, race against race, religion against religion, non-whites calling whites names - is this not racism?
Is this not squashing people's rights to be who they are and believe what they do or do not believe, free from mental or physical pain?
More locally, youngsters shouting "slow down, a cat has been hit". Great!
In contrast a well-known local councillor shouts in a meeting to have the traffic flow freely. Yet proof was put of accidents and injuries and speeds well over 30mph throughout the day, particularly as children are moving to and from school.
Those who wish to keep the slower speed have been shouted down and even abused for months. I note our local press has praised him throughout.
