Comedian Rob Schneider set to bring one-man show to Birmingham

He's best known for starring in movies alongside the likes of Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore and Kevin James - and now Hollywood comedy icon Rob Schneider is coming to Birmingham.

The Emmy-Award winning actor, comedian, screenwriter is set to bring his one-man show to Birmingham's Asylum Venue in March.

Rob first came to prominence on NBC's Saturday Night Live alongside SNL friends Adam Sandler, Tim Meadows and David Spade. He began as a writer and quickly became a full cast member from 1990 to 1994.

The Californian star has since starred in films such as Grown Ups, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Waterboy, You Don't Mess With The Zohan, Big Daddy, Judge Dredd, The Beverly Hillbillies and many more.

He also created and stars in the docu-series Real Rob, which focuses on the day-to-day hijinks of his life.

The series marks the first time any actor has ever written, produced, starred in, directed and financed an entire season of a television show.

An Evening With Rob Schneider comes to Birmingham's Asylum Venue on March 16.
