The annual Motorfest at Weston Park continues today, with roughly 1,700 vehicles on display spanning 80 years of driving joy.

The two-day motoring extravaganza kicked off yesterday with more than 70 local car club members representing their vehicles of choice, with displays from BMW Car Club, Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and Mercedes-Benz, alongside classic American cars, custom cars, 4x4s, motorcycles and commercial vehicles of the past.

As usual the grounds of the stately home near Shifnal are also packed with stalls selling motoring memorabilia for enthusiasts.

But this year the celebration is hoping to appeal to all the family, not just the die-hards, with new live music features, shopping stalls and Easter activities, including fun fair rides.

Yesterday retro girl band The Glamophones sung the songs of the 1940s and 1950s, while today The Quik Beats will play the sounds of the 1960s. Gates are open 10am to 4pm.
