A Shropshire mother is making appealing for tickets to see her daughter in her first major acting performance.
Jessica McCarnun bought tickets for the wrong performance of Oliver! at Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn.
She is now desperate to swop them for seats at either of the weekend performances when her daughter, Heather, will take to the stage as part of Fagin's Gang.
After buying two front-row tickets for next Thursday's show Mrs McCarnun is appealing to anyone who might be able to swop nights. as Heather will be part of the cast on Friday and Saturday.
She is even willing to donate £50 to charity as part of the swop.
The second ticket is for Heather's disabled grandmother who is coming from Salisbury, in Wiltshire, to see the show.
"I'm absolutely desperate to get hold of the tickets," said Mrs McCarnun. "It will break my daughter's heart if I can't see her on the stage. This is about saving my reputation as a good mum.
"I'm just looking for anyone who is able to swop tickets with me. I've got two really good seats in the front row for Thursday night, but Heather is only performing on Friday and Saturday."
Heather, 12, attends Belvidere School, in Shrewsbury, and is due to start Stagecoach drama sessions at the Wakeman School.
Mrs McCarnun said because of Heather's age there was a limit to how many nights she can perform in a row. She added: "I've been onto the theatre and they said there had been returns for Thursday but the weekend performances are sold out."
