A record number of acts registered for this year's Telford's Talent 2010 and the final 12 acts have now been picked.
The finalists will take to the stage on April 9 at 7.30pm at The Place in Oakengates. They will compete for the first prize of £500.
Nearly 350 acts registered to take part and 99 acts made it through to the intense second round of auditions earlier this month at Hadley Learning Community.
The production team of 11 to 21-year-olds behind Telford's Talent, have had the difficult task of choosing the final 12 acts.
The acts hoping to dazzle the judges include five-year-old gymnast Leo Wallace and singer Gavin Blake, 35.
To assist the performers with their star turns, voice coach Paul Wilcox will be offering a singing workshop, Toni & Guy and The Body Shop will be offering hair and make-up help.
Alisha-Jayne Mackey, Libby Randall and Jack Castree, dancers from the production team, will be directing the "best of the rest" compilation act and assisting with their choreography.
The winner is voted for by the audience at the live show which is once again a sell out.
Councillor Stephen Bentley said: "The young people who have planned and orchestrated this event have done a brilliant job."
