A call centre has expanded into bigger premises in Market Drayton, in a move expected to create up to 40 jobs.

Will Associates has moved into the town's county magistrates court in Cheshire Street after outgrowing its home in Poynton House, Shropshire Street.

Bosses say there will now be a phased move over several months to reduce disruption to business and that they expect to recruit new staff.

Ali Thompson, at Will Associates, said: "We are a rapidly expanding company with premises also in Stoke-on-Trent.

"The new building is great and we are over the moon with it.

"We would like to thank everyone who supported us in this purchase. There will be 61 head office staff and 250 field consultants using the offices, bringing much support to the local shops and economy.

"The staff will be moving in over the next few weeks as and when work is completed.

"We want to say thank you again to everyone who helped this go through. We have gone from 2,200 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft. It means more space and comfort for all the staff. We can expand when necessary.

"It's been a 12-month process but we are glad we persisted and can keep vital jobs and the business in Market Drayton."

Last year, bosses at the company said they hoped it would offer people in the town a "different" kind of job, rather than factory work offered by the town's big employers like Muller Wiseman or Palethorpes Pie Factory.

The magistrates building closed in April 2011 due to Government cutbacks.

Will Associates is still looking to employ more members of staff. For information email recruitment@willassociates.co.uk
