Proposals have been submitted to Shropshire Council for outline permission for a new 3,623sq m building for offices and industrial use off Knights Way at Battlefield Enterprise Park.
The firm's expansion plans are set to be agreed by its American board members at a meeting this month. The number of jobs which could be created should become clear by July.
Gordon Campbell, managing director of Technology Supplies Ltd, said the firm was a leading supplier of educational equipment to schools and colleges in the UK. He said: "It's all subject to approval by our American board.
"Our aim is to certainly grow the company even more so than we have over the past few years. We are currently at £14.5m and we want to be at £20m by 2015 and inevitably that will create additional job opportunities.
"We currently operate from two sites at the moment, Phoenix House at Tern Hill and Rose Hill. The lease will come to an end at Rose Hill and we will sell the building at Tern Hill.
He added: "It would be an exciting development."
