Gorgeous, organised by the Shropshire Guild of Designer Makers, will take place at Ludlow Racecourse on November 28 and 29, from 10am to 4pm.

The event has previously been held in Ironbridge and will feature a range of handmade items, including jewellery, glassware, ceramics, textiles, furniture, prints and metalwork.

Caroline Bennett, of the guild, said: “Gorgeous is a celebration of contemporary creative skills, promoting the work of designers and craftspeople in the region.

“We are very excited to be moving from Ironbridge to a new venue, Ludlow Racecourse, giving people the opportunity to discover the talents of nationally and internationally recognised artists and craftspeople.”

Visitors will be able to meet exhibitors, learn about their work and find ideas for Christmas gifts.

Entertainment will include two sets from a ukulele band on Saturday, while singer Marcy O will perform on Sunday morning.

Among the exhibitors is metal jeweller Fiona Jackson, whose work draws inspiration from the natural world and historical imagery.

Entry to the fair is free.
