Wolves stars Pedro Neto, Maximilian Kilman, Matheus Cunha, Anna Morphet, Anna Price and Ellie Wilson were in attendance for the Wolves Foundation’s big night at Molineux

It was an opportunity to recognise the huge contribution to the community made by the Foundation itself and those who work with the organisation in so many different ways.

The event was attended by the Foundation’s newest ambassador, club captain Maximilian Kilman, and his two team-mates Matheus Cunha and Pedro Neto.

All three listened on intently during the awards ceremony as well as spending time chatting with supporters throughout the evening. They were joined by Wolves Women manager Dan McNamara and players Anna Morphet, Ellie Wilson, and Anna Price, who is also a Foundation ambassador.

“Throughout my career I have seen how football can have such a positive impact on the local community and I’m really happy to be increasing my involvement,” says Kilman.

“Wolves Foundation do some fantastic work across many areas and the players are always keen to support the different projects and meet fans and people from the city.”

Team-mate Cunha always brings a smile to his community visits and one particular highlight of the past 12 months was his stint as a bingo caller, alongside his Brazilian compatriot Diego Costa, at a Wolves Elders event, a social group run by the Foundation for over-55s to help combat loneliness and isolation.

And there was an elder statesman of Molineux in attendance for this evening, too. The biggest cheer of the night was reserved for former manager Graham Turner who travelled up from his Herefordshire home to support the Foundation.
