Steve Bull: Hammers will be scrapping for a result against Wolves

Every game in the Premier League is going to be a scrap now – there will be no easy games.

A win in the Premier League feels like it is worth six points, not three, so for Wolves to get their first win will be great.

It was a big point against Man City. The fact we drew against the champions of the Premier League sent out a statement to say we can match the best and we will give it a good go whoever we play against.

I thought Wolves played absolutely brilliantly on Saturday, it was two good teams going at each other.

Not one of them held back and it was a cracking game to watch. Everybody put in a good shift, it was an overall team performance.

Now we have set a benchmark so it is important we stick to it and play like that every week.

At West Ham we have got to keep our foot on the gas.

They will want to get their first win at home and they will be thinking the same as we did last week – to shut up shop and earn a result.

Hopefully we can spoil it for them.

Wolves played well against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup. Nuno’s got a squad now that is capable of letting in a few players and a few fringe players out and use them in the Premier League if he has to.

It was good to see Traore and Dendoncker given their full debuts.

We have got those kind of names there as back-up at the moment, the squad is looking that good! It is nice that Nuno can throw them in and they are top class.

It was brilliant some youth players were given their debuts as well.

They will have got experience for that and it gives you an opportunity to say you are ready for it, that is the right way of doing things.
