Delight as Shrewsbury Town sell 2,500 early bird season tickets
Chief Executive Brian Caldwell expressed his delight as Shrewsbury surpassed the 2,500 early bird season ticket sales ahead of the 2017/18 season.
The total beats the previous effort of just short of 2,400 despite the club having still not secured their League One status.
"We are delighted and grateful to the over 2,500 who have taken advantage of the early bird offer," said Caldwell.
"At this stage last season we had sold 2,395 so to have surpassed that for next season is great news.
"Season ticket prices now go into the second early bird offer which offers good value per game and runs until after the fixtures are released so fans can check which games they can do.
"Hopefully we can get the points we require over the last two games to secure our League One status."
A second early bird offer now runs until June 24, costing roughly £15-per-game.
