The 18-year-old is set to join the Bucks for an indefinite period after becoming the first to benefit between the clubs' sharing of best practices both on and off the pitch.

Anderson only signed his first professional contract in May, becoming one of two graduates from Town's academy with keeper Shaun Rowley after scoring 25 goals last season.

It's not known if Anderson, who has been with Shrewsbury since the age of 13, will be available for the Bucks' second pre-season friendly tomorrow at AFC Wulfrunians.

But he is being allowed a taste of football at Conference North level for the coming campaign.

Boss Steve Kittrick said: "We're delighted to be bringing in Kaiman.

"He's a lad who we've kept an eye on after impressing us in the Shropshire Senior Cup final last season.

"He's shown a lot of promise and an excellent attitude which has led to him winning a contract at Shrewsbury.

"And after speaking to Micky, who I know from his time at Fleetwood and mine at Guiseley, he wants him to come here and get a taste of men's football, which he'll get."

Mellon said: "It's a brilliant situation for everyone.

"Kaiman is ready to play men's football and I know the guys at Telford really well so it's a no-brainer.

"He'll do very well there; they've been very impressed with him."

Meanwhile, the Bucks hope to sign attacking midfielder Jack Roberts after ending their interest in former Liverpool youngster Craig Roddan.

Roberts, 24 and from Hinckley, was recently on trial at Conference side Lincoln City.
