The Bucks boss is on the hunt for fresh blood as he prepares to lead the club on their return to the top flight of non-league football.

Part-time Telford will be pitting their wits against full-time opponents with far bigger playing budgets but goalkeeping player-coach Andy Pryce believes Watson is the ideal man to find the players which can fire them to safety.

The 43-year-old boss already has experience of managing in division from his time at Southport and led the Bucks to the Skrill North title last season despite having to overhaul the squad last summer.

"You only have to look at Liam's track record," said Pryce. "Last season he brought in around 18 or 19 new players and built them into title winners.

"He has a very good eye for a player and I'm sure he has his targets. Most importantly he won't bring in anyone who will upset the team spirit."

Pryce believes the club should have every faith in Watson's methods, after the impressive job he did last season.

"Liam said at the presentation night a few weeks back that this time last year he said we would win the league and that is exactly what happened," he said.

"He is not claiming that this time around, we know it is going to be difficult and we don't expect to win the league. We are going in with a lot of commitment, that is one thing we will definitely need."
