The club's board of directors will present their figures during the annual general meeting of the supporters trust at the New Bucks Head tonight.

The Bucks have announced an operating profit of just over £13,000, for the year ending May 31. Turnover stood at £838,000, up from £822,000 the previous year.

Only the club's 2009 result eclipses this figure and turnover has been recorded as £117,000 more than it was three years ago.

Just over £300,000 was spent on players wages. That was a decrease on the previous year, where Telford failed to make a profit for the first time. But it was £66,000 over the agreed budget at the start of the season.

The team were embarking on a doomed attempt for a second season of survival in the Skrill Conference Premier, with these the last set of results with Lee Carter acting as chairman.

He said: "The results are testimony to the hard work and dedication of the board of directors, who deserve credit for their work during a horrendous year on the pitch for the club."

New chairman Ian Dosser added: "After the financial performance of 2011-12, it was our priority to ensure we got back onto an even financial keel.

"But we were still able to commit to significant expenditure over and above budget to support recruitment."

On the pitch, boss Liam Watson is down to the "bare bones" as he sweats on the availability of striker Andy Owens and defender Chris Lever.

Owens pulled up with a hamstring injury shortly after scoring his first competitive goal for the club at Brackley Town on Tuesday night, while Lever has an ear infection.

Watson said: "I think we are getting a bit down to the bare bones, squad wise.

"Hopefully, it won't be too long before we get everybody back.

Also, Telford will play Scarborough Athletic in the FA Trophy third qualifying round at the New Bucks Head a week on Saturday. Scarborough beat Cambridge City 2-1 last night.
