Bucks boss Sinton eyeing the January sales

AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton has re-iterated his intention to 'shake things up' in the transfer market next month regardless of his team's league position.

The Bucks chief has seen his team stretch an unenviable winless run in the league to seven games with Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Hyde.

The loss has seen the team slip to 17th in the Blue Square Bet Premier League after 21 games, leaving them just two points above the relegation zone.

But Sinton has said it was always his intention to bring in new faces in January no matter where the Bucks were positioned. He added though that he expected every other team in the league to do the same thing.

"I will change it. I will shake it up but every team will do something in January," he said. "You don't put a squad of 20 together and that goes right through the season at any level of football.

"You get to a point where you need to strengthen for one or two reasons and we are no different.

"We will look and we will add to what we have got. Whether we were 10th in the league, sixth in the league, 16th in the league or bottom of the league, we would have still been looking to do something in January."

Tickets are still available for an evening with retired Premier League referee and regular Sky Sports pundit Dermot Gallagher at the New Bucks Head on Thursday.

The event is all ticket and places can be booked at the learning centre reception Monday to Friday 9am-4pm or by calling (01952) 567546, emailing paul.riley@telfordutd.co.uk or visiting www.buckstickets.co.uk
