Andy Sinton is backing AFC Telford to find spark
AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton has backed his faltering team to re-discover their impressive early season form.
But the Bucks chief has said it may take a couple of games before they are back to their best.
Sinton, whose side were due to take on Nuneaton at home today in the FA Trophy first round, started their latest Blue Square Bet Premier League campaign with a flourish.
Eye-catching victories at promotion contenders Luton Town and Dartford were the high points of an enthralling opening 14 games which saw the Bucks rise into the top 10 in the league.
They have not won any of their last seven games since the latter though, prior to today's clash, with three wins and four draws included in that sequence.
But Sinton remains confident that the team will work their way out of the rut.
He said: "Over the last two or three weeks we have just lacked a spark.
"It might be another game or two before we find it but we'll get through it.
"It is a case of us getting our heads down and working as hard as we can but we have got good players. It is just a matter of time before they click again."
