Andy Sinton worried by AFC Telford home failures

AFC Telford United must improve their stuttering home form after turning in their 'worst performance' of the season at the weekend, boss Andy Sinton has said.

The Bucks' 2-0 defeat to Kidderminster at the New Bucks Head was their fourth home defeat in 10 Blue Square Bet Premier League games so far this season.

The team has also drawn four but only managed to win two of their remaining league encounters.

In contrast, they have won three times on the road and claimed five draws, with just a single defeat in the league.

Sinton said his team's strong start to the season has raised expectations but they must deal with the added pressure and start taking more points at the New Bucks Head.

He said: "Before I got the job, the season before I came here they didn't get many results here.

"But we got over that over the last couple of seasons and our home form kept us up last year.

"We have raised the bar so people are expecting more. I expect more than what I saw on Saturday and we have got to man up and make it work here."
