Hosts Oxfordshire finished the opening day yesterday on 38-3 after Shropshire finished on 264 all out, with two rain delays forcing play to end early at Aston Rowant.
With a better weather forecast, officials hope the match can resume tomorrow. The clash had been scheduled to resume at 10.30am.
