Shrewsbury v Birmingham City - Ollie Westbury's player ratings
Gareth Ainsworth's Shrewsbury Town side produced a superb display and result at the weekend against Birmingham City.
Here, Salop reporter Ollie Westbury rates the Town players on a memorable day in Shropshire.
Toby Savin
The Town keeper has had a tough job of late, but he made one brilliant stop late in the second half to keep Shrewsbury's lead intact.
Vital: 8
Luca Hoole
Had Keshi Anderson for company in the first half, and he kept him very quiet. So much so that he was subbed off - it was a super display from Hoole.
Good: 8
Aaron Pierre
Not known for his goals, but he scored a beauty to give Town the lead just past the half-hour mark. His defending was terrific too, with a number of important headers.
Superb: 8
Toto Nsiala
Had not played since Paul Hurst's last game in charge before this one, but like his partner Pierre, he made a number of really important interceptions. Went off injured in the closing moments.
