Firefighters called to tree blaze by Telford skatepark
Firefighters were called to a popular Shropshire skatepark after a tree caught fire.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said they were called to the Stirchley Skatepark in Telford at around 3.40pm on Tuesday after reports of a fire in the open.
A spokesperson for the fire service said the fire involved a fallen tree.
The cause of the blaze is unknown but the fire service had the fire extinguished by 3.59pm.
