Two in hospital after Telford disorder

Two people were treated in hospital for head injuries following an incident of disorder in Telford.

Police are investigating reports of a fight involving a group of individuals in Ketley Park Road, Ketley. at around 4.20pm on Monday.

A 25-year-old man was found at the scene with head injuries and was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital for treatment. He was later discharged.

A second man, aged 19, was later located at the Princess Royal Hospital, where he was also being treated for head injuries.

Kieren Bodill, a spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "Officers are currently working to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident and we would like to reassure the local community that there is currently no evidence to suggest any wider threat to the public."
