The pick-up truck was destroyed in the fire at Cleedownton, just before 2pm on Monday.
A fire crew from Ludlow went to the scene with firefighters extinguishing the flames using two hosereel jets.
Hotspots on the vehicle were monitored using a thermal imaging camera and cooled with hosereel jet and the fire was under control by 3.18pm.
The road was closed because of a fuel spillage across the road.
