Nobody hurt after vehicle hit tree in Shrewsbury crash

A vehicle hit a tree in a crash in Shrewsbury last night.

The collision happened in Racecourse Crescent, Monkmoor. Fire crews were called shortly after 9.30pm. Nobody was hurt.

A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 9.34pm on Thursday, August 31, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury. Fire crews used small gear. No casualties.

One fire engine was sent to the scene from Shrewsbury fire station.
