Fire crew rescues person stuck in lift at nursing home
Fire crews came to the rescue of a person stuck in a lift at a nursing home.
The incident happened at the Withywood nursing home in Ellesmere Road, Shrewsbury shortly before 1pm today.
The person was released using the lift key.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 12.56pm on Friday, February 10, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as 'lift rescue persons locked in' in Shrewsbury. Person released from lift using lift key at premises.
"One fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury."
