80-year-old left trapped after Oswestry crash
An 80-year-old man was trapped in his car after a crash near Oswestry on Wednesday.
The accident happened on the A495 at Llynclys, close to the Blodwel quarry junction and Lime Kiln pub at about 12.15pm and involved two cars.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene including paramedics and fire crews from Oswestry, Ellesmere and Wellington.
Firefighters released the man, who was a passenger in one of the cars. He was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with leg and shoulder pain.
