Telford thief who defecated on police cell floor after arrest avoids jail term
A man who defecated on the floor of a police cell after being arrested for failing to do a roadside breath test has been handed a suspended prison term.
Mark Preece, aged 44, was arrested by police on October 30 last year in Telford after refusing to give a breathalyser sample.
He made a mess on the cell floor at Malinsgate Police Station, rendering the cell "out of use for a prolonged period of time".
