Shrewsbury man who damaged window at emergency rough sleepers' house ordered to pay £100

A man who damaged a window at a Shrewsbury property used to house rough sleepers during bad weather has been ordered to pay compensation.

Scott Kerry, aged 27, broke the window of the property in Castle Foregate on December 11 this year. The property is used to accommodate rough sleepers in adverse weather, and was opened up on December 6 and 7.

Kerry, of The Crescent, Bomere Heath, Shrewsbury, pleaded guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates Court to one count of criminal damage.

He was ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
